I was reading this one with my son as one of his summer reading choice books. He wasn't enjoying it very much, so we decided to DNF it. It's never too early to learn that sometimes a book just isn't for you and that's ok. Better to DNF than to waste so much time reading something you aren't enjoying.
On another note, I read this book previously and liked it. So, maybe it just isn't for him. I think it might have been just too slow moving. Also, I think the language was a bit unnecessarily complex.
